Agent-Assisted
Development
A working process for people and AI agents that share knowledge and tasks. A worker is a person or an agent. Each worker must be able to find the rules, understand the task, and continue the work without earlier conversations.

Core rules
Twelve rules. Everything else in the spec elaborates them.
Working reference
Links to the governing rules; it does not replace them.
| Activity | Record | Approval and publication |
|---|
Repository and knowledge
One accepted source per kind of information. Policy holds requirements, configuration holds mechanics, decision records hold reasons.
Task lifecycle
The transition table is authoritative. An unlisted transition is invalid, and no approval can grant it. Try one.
Task file linter
YAML header for tools, Markdown body for people. Edit the task; checks run as you type. Structural checks cannot prove scope. Semantic review still applies.
Publication classifier
A pull request is classified by its most restrictive change. Select what the candidate contains.
Development activities
The task goal defines the result. Next names the activity. Different agents can
do different activities in the same task.
Startup and guide reading
Every worker runs the same startup. What it must re-read depends on what it knows.
